Caterers will be able to register a single point of contact in each European Union member state for market access under a diluted version of a Bill to open up the EU’s services industries to cross-border competition.
The Federation of Small Businesses said it was moving in the right direction but was not as big a jump as it would have wanted.
Many services sector businesses are angry the Bill does not go far enough.
