Shmaltz, a Jewish-inspired high-end French chicken concept, is the latest addition to Broadgate Circle.

Developed by former The Pass chef Karl Burdock, Shmaltz will serve Label Rouge chicken sandwiches, salads and soups from a truck at the British Land scheme.

Burdock, said: “Lightness was an imperative for developing each product. I love and think it’s critically important that we use the entire bird, beak to tail, purchased direct from the farm in France. It’s consistent with the Michelin philosophy and there’s a quality in each £7 product that you’d expect in a £25 dish.”

Shmaltz will open Monday to Friday, 11am to 5pm.

The new concept joins Claw, Wolf, Sub Cult, Yolk and Baba G’s Bhangra Burger at the scheme.
