Steve Richards has today joined Urbium as chief executive, replacing Robert Cohen who left the business to pursue other opportunities last year.
Richards formerly ran one of four Spirit trading divisions, including concepts such as Henry’s and Bar 38.
Following Richard’s appointment, John Conlan, the group’s executive chairman, is assuming the role of non-executive chairman.
Urbium also announced that Nigel Wray, a non-executive director, is leaving the board in order to reduce his various board commitments.
Conlan said: "I am delighted to welcome Steve Richards to the company. His extensive experience and knowledge of our industry will add significant value as he leads the Urbium management team through the next exciting phase of the company’s development."
