K-Bar has exchanged contracts for the sale of four London sites. They are the Kartouche restaurant, K-Bar Café des Artistes, in Fulham Road and the K-Bars in Putney and Wimbledon.
Rival late-night operator Po Na Na is understood to be buying the Putney and Wimbledon properties and the Chelsea K-bar is going to a private buyer. Jamie Poulson, who runs Randall & Aubin in Soho has bought Kartouche. K-bar will lease back the basement area from where it will continue to trade as K-Bar the Basement.
A fifth site in Wardour Street, in London's West End is still up for sale. It is currently closed following a flood earlier this month.
