Uber Eats is trialling pre-order food at restaurants with a new ‘Dine In’ feature.

The feature, which allows consumer to select the the food you want in advance, then turn up to the restaurant at a chosen time, is currently available in the US.

There are no delivery or service fees – though it is possible the menu available via Uber Eats could be different from the standard menu at the restaurant.

Consumers order from the menu and choose to eat ‘ASAP’ or schedule when they want to arrive.

In a statement, an Uber Eats spokesperson said: “We’re always thinking about new ways to enhance the Eats experience.”
