Starbucks it to extend its spirits offering with Starbucks Cream Liqueur, created under its agreement with Jim Beam. The group described the drink as "an artful blend of delicious cream, premium spirits and a hint of Starbucks coffee". In February last year the companies launched Starbucks Coffee Liqueur, currently ranked number three in the superpremium cordials category, with a market share of 11%. Gerry Lopez, president of Starbucks Global Consumer Products, said: "We are very pleased with the success of our first entry into the spirits category. Creating a cream liqueur is a natural extension for the brand."
