Costa Coffee is shaking up its food offer in more than 2,500 venues with a tie-up with M&S Food.

The partnership between the two brands will see 30 M&S food products available to Costa customers, including new lunch options, hot meal boxes and children’s foods, sandwiches and salads.

The range will launch next year and be available across coffee shops and drive-thru sies.

Neil Lake, managing director, Costa Coffee UK & Ireland, said: “As we continue to craft new coffee experiences across our stores, Costa Express machines, and Costa coffee in a can and at-home offer, we are bringing together two of the very best brands in a UK-first to launch the Costa Coffee Now Serving M&S Food range.”

“We’ll use our joint expertise to develop a food experience of the highest quality, freshness and value.”

Stuart Machin, chief operating officer and managing director of M&S food said: “Bringing together delicious, great quality M&S Food and the nation’s largest chain of coffee shops is great for customers as it extends our reach and supports our strategy of making M&S more relevant, more often for families.”

Costa’s chief executive Jill McDonald was previously managing director of clothing and home at M&S.
