On-trade supplier Matthew Clark has bolstered its premium offering with over 30 new top producers selected in response to market trends and customer demands.

Responding to 20% surge in Chablis sales over the last year, the company is bringing two new Chablis producers into the fold, including Domaine Marguerite Carillon, Bouchard Aîné and Pierre Dupond, whose family has been making wine since 1860.

With sparkling wines growing by more than 30% across the Matthew Clark portfolio, and English sparkling more than doubling this category has also been strengthened with the introduction of new wines from the Cornish winery Camel Valley, and a range of Crémants from family-run Loire producer Maison Sauvion.

Among the other new additions to Matthew Clark’s list are Atamisque’s Serbal range from the Ruta del Vino in Mendoza, including the award winning Serbal Assemblage (Top 50 wines, Decanter, 2014) hand-crafted wines from Chalk Hill in the McLaren Vale, Hawkes Bay producer, Te Awa bring 7 new additions including their Leftfield range. Alsatian-inspired Pinot Blancs from Oregon’s Four Graces winery also joins the collection, as well as exciting additions from unexpected regions, like Bay of Fires from Northern Tasmania and Daciana from Romania’s Banat region.

All new additions to the range will be available to taste at Matthew Clark’s annual London customer event #WhyWeLoveWine, which takes place at Tobacco Dock on 3rd March.
