The League Managers Association (LMA) has announced a new commercial partnership with Carling.

The partnership will provide Carling with access to the LMA membership to support a number of consumer promotional programmes, trade activities and internal activation.

In addition, with Carling based in Burton-on-Trent and already a partner of St. George’s Park, the FA’s National Football Centre and home to the LMA, the company said that the agreement would “help create further unique and exciting opportunities”.

Richard Bevan, LMA chief executive, said: “The LMA is delighted to be working in collaboration with Carling, a globally recognised brand and one synonymous with football in the UK. We are delighted to engage with brands working in the game and as such Carling is a natural fit. I look forward to the exciting opportunities in 2015/16 and beyond.”

Alpesh Mistry, Molson Coors customer marketing director UK, said: “Following the announcement of our partnership with St. Georges Park last year, this agreement is further testament to the strength of our relationships within this industry. We believe that this partnership with the LMA will add real value to the Carling brand, and will create future opportunities for our customers across the UK.”
