Guinness supplies could run out as workers at the St James’s Gate Brewery in Dublin threaten the first strike in the firm’s 250-year history.
The 800 staff are balloting on industrial action over plans to revise redundancy terms, amid speculation Guinness is considering a move from the Dublin site, which could also jeopardise 300 jobs in Dundalk, Waterford and Kilkenny.
