The pre-eminent seminar and think-tank for business leaders from the UK eating-out market is back this autumn, with an unrivalled line-up of speakers. Topping the bill at M&C Report’s Restaurant 2008 conference is American restaurant guru Aaron Allen, founder and CEO of Quantified Marketing Group – one of the world’s largest restaurant consulting companies. A senior minister from the Department of Health will unveil the government’s policies for tackling the obesity issue, outlining the legislative landscape, and implications for the UK restaurant market. Restaurant 2008 will also hear from a clutch of entrepreneurs who are making health pay, including the leading lights from Chop’d, Leon and Lovejuice. Returning to the stage by popular demand is Anthony Gutman, head of the hotels and leisure team at Goldman Sachs, who will present his views on the future trends and opportunities for mergers and acquisitions within the eating-out market.
