Tapas Revolution, the Spanish tapas group from Omar Allibhoy, has further strengthened its openings pipeline, after lining up a site in Oxford, MCA understands.

The six-strong group, which earlier this year sold its site in Shoreditch to Burmese restaurant Lahpet, is understood to be in talks on site in the Westgate scheme for an opening later this year.

MCA revealed earlier this month that the group is also set to open in Thames Street, Windsor.

The company is set to open a restaurant at the entrance of the food hall and market in the Chester Northgate development later this year and has also taken a unit in Halle Place, the new £11m food quarter at Manchester’s Arndale scheme.

Tapas Revolution, which secured £2.5m of new funding from Mobeus Equity Partners last year, opened its latest site in Bath’s SouthGate shopping and dining centre last June.
