Indian takeaway group Spice2Go is rebranding as takeaway pizza concept Slice Pizza, M&C has learnt.

Four stores were opened under the brand; in Cardiff, Swansea, Bristol and Sidcup.

The chain’s founder CEO Tej Randeva’s also appeared on BBC’s Dragon’s Den, pitching for a £75k equity investment in exchange for a 10% stake in the company. He was ultimately unsuccessful.

Randeva’s new Slice Pizza concept will open its first store under a franchise agreement at the site of the former Spice2Go store on Albany Road in Cardiff, M&C understands.

It is believed to be set for a mid-February opening.
