Pieminister is planning a rollout for its latest format which introduced an ice cream offer to complement its core range of pies.

Co-founder and managing director Tristan Hogg told MCA that the first iteration of the concept, which opened in Sheffield at the end of last month had been well received by customers.

He said plans were already underway for a wider rollout.

Meanwhile, the group is set to open its ninth restaurant in Liverpool’s Bold Street next week.

Pieminister, which secured a £1.65m financial package secured from HSBC at the end of last year, also operates seven cafes.
