Patisserie Holdings, the AIM-list group, has opened a third site in Manchester under its core Patisserie Valerie site.

The company has opened a 488sq ft café at St James’ building on Oxford Street in Manchester.

Patisserie Valerie is the latest brand to select St James’, Bruntwood’s Grade II listed building, which forms part of the Oxford Road strategic corridor. It joins Pizza Express, Caffè Nero, First Taste, New York Deli and Changos at the scheme

Paul May, chief executive of Patisserie Valerie, added: “Bruntwood’s St James’ building has the character we seek and is right at the heart of an area with a very strong customer base from morning through to evening.   This is the perfect location for Patisserie Valerie and we are very pleased with the customer response so far.”

May recently told M&C Report that the company was pleased with trading over the summer and that it had a strong pipeline for the next 12 months.

The group has opened 10 new sites since its joined AIM earlier this year and plans to open up to 20 units in its current financial year.

The company recently opened its first site in Wales, at the St David’s Shopping Centre in Cardiff. It has also opened its second site in Cambridge and a new unit in Maidstone.

It has openings in Wimbledon and Worcester lined up before the end of 2014.
