McDonald’s has launched a new marketing campaign to coincide with it celebrating 40 years in the UK, reminding customers about the role it has played in the memorable moments in their lives.

According to Marketing Week, the Celebrating 40 Years Together” campaign is being rolled out now through outdoor ads centering on everyday, “timeless” moments.

The company is also asking fans to record their personal memories of the brand through a Razorfish-created website. It uses Google’s speech recognition API to display the words on screen as they are spoken before turning the phrase into an animated poster using Google font.
