Jules Thin Crust, a US-based pizza concept, will make its debut in the UK later this month in London.

The Pennsylvania-based group, which currently has 10 sites in the US, has struck a deal to open its first site in Putney’s Lacy Road.

The concept has been brought to the UK by George Porchester, the son of the Earl of Carnarvon, and a former intern at private equity group Rutland Partners, which backs Pizza Hut Restaurants.

Launched in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, the concept serves healthy thin crust pizza made from organic, locally sourced ingredients.

The concept was founded by husband and wife team John and Jan Ordway in Doylestown, Pennsylvania.

It has since expanded to two locations in California, six in Pennsylvania and two in New Jersey.
