The team behind the Richard Caring-backed Jackson & Rye and Grillshack concepts is to launch a new all-day café and restaurant called Limeyard on Ealing High Street later this month.

M&C Report understands that the new format, which will open on the site previously set for Grillshack, will feature an offer with a menu created by Mark Askew that is “loosely influenced by the Americas”.

It is thought that the company, which is led by Graham Ford, will assess the new concept before exploring further opening opportunities, but that it could become a third growth brand for the group.

Breakfast at the new site will comprise of kale and spinach benedict, house toasted granola and buttermilk pancakes, while mains will feature a variety of sandwiches including an open toasted sour dough with grilled feta and avocado, healthy fresh salads and a range of different styles of chicken.

A third Jackson & Rye is set to open on the former Med Kitchen site in Richmond next month, while a fourth site under the brand has been also been mooted before the end of the year.

It is understood that the initial Grillshack in Soho’s Beak Street is performing well, but that the company felt the location in Ealing better suited Limeyard.
