Caprice Holdings will open its third Sexy Fish outpost in Manchester’s Spinningfields this autumn. The restaurant will offer an opulent Asian-inspired dining destination, with lunch, dinner, cocktails and late night entertainment.

The offer – devised by chef director Bjoern Weissgerber – will feature a la carte and Omakase tasting menus. Dishes including duck salad, smoked tuna belly, black cod, and king crab, plus recipes exclusive to Manchester.

The restaurant will house the country’s largest champagne collection with 75 references, as well as wine, sake, and cocktails. It will also offer late night entertainment with performers and DJs, alongside a late night dining menu.

Interior features will include artwork from artist Damien Hirst, including three giant sculptures specially created for the space.

Additional interior elements will include a collection of ‘fish lamps’ from designer and architect Frank Gehry, a Verde Esmeralda stone floor, and a series of bespoke glass columns created by Venetian glassmakers.

Sexy Fish Manchester will also have a destination bar and private dining room.

The concept also has outposts in London’s Mayfair and Miami’s Brickell district.

Caprice Holdings chairman Richard Caring said: “Myself and the entire company are extremely excited to bring Sexy Fish to the vibrant and amazing city of Manchester this autumn. Manchester follows on from the successful restaurants in London and Miami. Caprice Holdings as a company has an affinity with the city, and we believe that Sexy Fish will be loved and enjoyed by the people of Manchester. I repeat, we are truly excited and look forward to being in one of the greatest cities in the UK, and the world.”
