The Chinese community in London has been protesting over allegations that a Chinese restaurant was responsible for bringing the foot-and-mouth outbreak to Britain.
Chinese restaurant bosses met Agriculture Minister Nick Brown at the weekend to protest at reports that the foot-and-mouth outbreak was caused by illegally-imported meat.
A mass demonstration took place in London on Sunday. The restaurateurs are concerned that they are being made scapegoats and that the public may believe their food is made from cheap and illegal ingredients.
