Bigfoot Pub Co, the Brighton based craft beer pub operator, has taken on another site, The Hampton, MCA has learnt.

The Upper Street pub has been refurbished and renamed Easy Tiger, with a new range of keg and cask beer on offer, and food from former Curry Leaf Cafe head chef Kānthi Kiran Thamma.

Bigfoot’s directors include Simon Duddington, Aaron Williams, Jack Cregan and Nick Vardy, operate two Bison Beer bars and The Pond pub on Gloucester Road.

Duddinton, the former owner of the Bottom’s Rest pub on Lower Market Street, has a long-standing association with Laine Pub Company, as the former licensee and manager of the Mash Tun and Fortune of War.

He has also launched, managed and provided development and training services to a number of London pubs for Laines.

Cregan and Vardy are the founders of Bison, which has a bar on North Road, a bottle shop on East Street and a bar and shop on Church Road, Hove.

Duddington, Cregan and Vardy were part of a crowdfunded bid to open a craft beer pub on the former Mariner pub site, which was being proposed for a Burger King.

They raised £150,000 towards the project but handed back the funds after talks between the landlord Whitbread and the leaseholder broke down.
