Your Friendly Pub Co, the Devon-based group led by former Whitbread and Eldridge Pope employees John and Tania Bandy, will open its second pub next month.
The couple, who opened their first pub the Farmers Union in Exeter, at the end of 2012, will re-open the Twisted Oak in the village of Ide.
The Brandy’s, who both worked for Tiger Tiger Bills operator the Lifestyle Hospitality Group, set up Your Friendly Pub Co to take on failing or closed businesses and bringing them back to life and commercial viability, by way of going back to basics with “good old fashioned standards” and making them the “home of good honest food and friendly service”.
