Spirit Pub Company has launched a new gift card across its c750-strong estate, which is set to be available from some ASDA stores and Wilkinson’s over the next six months, M&C Report has learnt.
The company is also set to roll out variants of the card, which can be brought for any value between £5 and £250, across each of its brands, including Chef & Brewer and Flaming Grill, next month.
Kenny Skelton, head of digital at Spirit, told M&C Report: “We recently launched the Great British Pub Card to fulfil our guest requests for a gift card that would cover all 750 of our pubs across all brands. The card can be brought for any value between £5 and £250 from www.greatbritishpubcard.co.uk as well as some ASDA stores from September and Wilkinson’s from January 2014, with the intention to feature in additional outlets in the near future.
“For those guests who are looking for a gift for dedicated brand advocates we will also be launching individually branded gift cards for each of our brands in September 2013. These will be supported with in-pub POS and available to buy from each brand’s website. All gift cards can be sent directly to the guest via email or text and can be loaded up to the value of £100, providing quick and simple gifting for our guests.”
