Hundreds of clubbers at Luminar's Jumpin’ Jaks in Southampton were evacuated after an overhead pipe fractured and started spraying sewage on crowds below.
There was an estimated crowd of 750 in the venue at the time.
One customer said: "We were sat at a table next to a bar and, literally, the pipe fell down. It covered about 50 people and you could smell it. We were all splattered, it was very unpleasant."
Customers were given their entrance money back plus free tickets for the nearby Diva night-club.
