Revolution vodka-bar operator Inventive Leisure is lining up openings in Brighton and the City of London, writes Paul Charity The company, which has a turnover of £90m, has opened sites in Wilmslow, Cheshire, Loughborough, Leicestershire, and Cardiff in the past year. Chief executive Roy Ellis said: “We don’t plan to open more than four or five sites in the coming year. We’ve had to work a lot harder to stand still in the past year. “We’ve been working flat out and are just off flat in like-for-like terms. “As we’ve never historically operated close to the bone in terms of costs, we’ve been able to act to negate rising costs this year. Knowing that it was going to get tough has made us step up a gear.”
