The Parks Trust, the independent charity, has placed the investment interest of four pubs based in and around Milton Keynes on the market, for a combined sum of just under £1.5m, M&C Report has learnt.

The package is understood to comprise The Blacksmiths Arms let to Charles Wells; the Countryman also let to Charles Wells; the Clock Tower let to Spirit Pub Company and the Springfield let to Enterprise Inns.

It is thought that the pubs, which range in price from £320k to £435k are being marketed through Fleurets.

The Blacksmiths Arms is let to Charles Wells until October 2038; the Countryman is let to Charles Wells until September 2084, the Springfield is let to Enterprise until October 2037 and the Clock Tower is let to Spirit until December 2084.

It is understood that the Trust is selling the sites to help balance its commercial portfolio and that proceeds from the sales will be reinvested into securing the long term future of Milton Keynes’ parks.
