The health care trust in North Somerset has produced an "easy breathing pubs guide" to non-smoking pubs in the district.
The North Somerset Primary Care Trust says 50 pubs in North Somerset now have designated areas where smoking is not allowed.
Kate Porter, the district's Easy Breathing co-ordinator, said: "In this area we are fortunate in having pubs that have joined the revolution and cater for both those who smoke and those who do not."
Copies of the Easy Breathing pubs directory are available from the pubs themselves and North Somerset Council leisure centres.
