Radical gay mens group Our Space is trying to get women banned from homosexual clubs and bars.
The pressure group has established itself in Brighton where it says gay bars are under siege from heterosexual women intent on converting them. It also wants to bar lesbians.
Gay rights pressure group Stonewall said such gender discrimination would probably be unlawful and describes the militancy as a retrograde step.
