Freeholds of two Bournemouth sites that were previously leased to Yellowhammer, the troubled bar operator, have been placed on the market with Davis Coffer Lyons (DCL).

The former Bliss and Chilli Whites clubs on St. Peter’s Road, which both measure c9,500 sq ft, have 24-hour licences.

Jonathan Moradoff, associate director at DCL, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to acquire two highly desirable units in an excellent part of the town. Bournemouth has a large student population and a thriving nightlife culture. We have already received significant interest and are confident that we will be able to announce a buyer shortly.”

Yellowhammer exited the sites earlier this year. The company underwent a strategic review in 2012 that saw its late-night venue estate cut to 17 sites.

Earlier this year a subsidiary of the company was placed in administration. RSM Tenon was appointed administrator of Yellowhammer Trading Limited, which is understood to be a trading entity that doesn’t hold specific venues, on 4 February.

In March M&C Report revealed that Yellowhammer had sold a package of three sites to retro music bar operator Fever Bars.
