Disco Bars, the Midlands-based late-night operator, has taken on the Fever Group’s eponymous venue in Burton-on-Trent, MCA has learnt.
The eight-strong operator intends to trade the bar in its current format for the next few weeks before closing for a £150,000 refurbishment to transform it into a Society bar and a Manhattans disco room, relaunching in the next few months.
Founder Peter Terry told MCA: “We trade nearby venues Society/Manhattans Uttoxeter and Manhattans/Buddha in Ashby de la Zouch and we feel this will be a perfect fit with our existing venues in neighbouring towns.”
Earlier this year, Terry told MCA his plan was to grow the group by finding sites suitable to operate both its core formats – Society and Manhattans.
