The Cocktail Trading Company (CTC) has secured its second London site and is preparing to open a sister venue in Bristol, M&C has learnt.
The company, which was founded at the end of 2014 by a group of experienced bartenders, is opening its second bar in Farringdon at the back of Smithfield Market, on Long Lane under Urban Leisure Group’s Ask for Janice.
The venue, die to open in September, will be similar to the first Cocktail Trading Co with a more rustic design, according to Andy Mil who co-founded the group.
The first venue outside of London is expected to open in Bristol in late July adjacent to Clifton railway station.
Called Her Majesty’s Secret Service, the bar will have a ‘loose spy theme’ to evoke the essence of having a night out with James Bond.
