BrewDog has announced a new transparency dashboard to share its latest employer ranking, details on its sustainability initiatives, and new developments, CEO James Watt announced in a LinkedIn post.

The transparency dashboard, updated on the company’s website, includes employer rankings based on anonymous team surveys as well as the number of new jobs created and new members recruited by the business.

The dashboard is the latest initiative in the craft beer brewer and operator’s efforts towards transparency and inclusion, following nearly two years of accusations of a toxic work culture, as well as bullying and sexual misconduct from Watt.

It follows in the footsteps of the Blueprint introduced in May, which announced that hourly staff will benefit from a 50/50 profit share at all bars while 20% of Watt’s stake – or 5% of the company – will be handed over to staff.

The dashboard also includes information about new bars under construction, new beers to be introduced, and brewery emissions, water consumption, and gas usage.

In the same LinkedIn post, Watt said: “We have launched a brand new transparency dashboard, making BrewDog by far the most transparent company in our industry.

“We are now sharing our latest employer ranking (based on an anonymous team survey), the number of jobs we have created this year as well as loads of details on our sustainability mission and even what new and special beers are brewing in our tanks.

“As a business we have always believed in radical transparency.

“From the groundbreaking DIY Dog where we share all of our recipes, to our Annual Report where we share all of our financials or to our open book MEGA Reports where we are transparent on all of our sustainability initiatives we always share as much as we can.

“And now we are taking that radical transparency to the next level with the launch of our transparency dashboard.”
