Bradford police are urging licensees in the city to buy or hire radios to connect them to the control room of the city's closed-circuit TV system.
The scheme allows police to view incidents reported to them by radio as they happen, rather than hearing about them after the fact. nearly 50 premises are already linked to the system.
Radios are available to hire for £5 a week, or buy for £300.
