Be At One is to make its debut in Manchester, with a site in the Barton Arcade, Deansgate.

The cocktail bar operator will open its 30th site – and 11th outside London on 24 March.

Co-founder Steve Locke told the Manchester Evening News: “Manchester is a major step for us, the city has a thriving cocktail scene and one we are very excited about joining.

“We are very focused on providing a world class guest experience, which we deliver through our bartenders, in-house training and an extensive range of cocktails.”

Locke said Manchester had always been on the list of key destinations but the group wanted to build its infrastructure in the north, with offerings in Leeds and Sheffield first.

He said: “We are quite risk aversive as a company so we didn’t want to go into new territory and not be able to deliver.

“Outside of London, Manchester is the city to be in so there is a lot of anticipation from us on this opening, we have waited to do it properly and absolutely nail it.”
