A pub in East London’s Docklands has been sold for a reported £32m to developers who want to convert it into a hotel. The City Pride near Canary Wharf was owned by the Foundation Group, the parent company of Glendola Leisure, the managed operator of bars, clubs and restaurants headed by Alex Salussolia. The developers plan to build a 60-storey tower on the 0.6-acre site, which is set to feature a five-star hotel and 400 apartments.
