Paul UK has launched a grocery delivery service out of its central bakery in Acton to support the demand for essentials during lockdown.

An extension of the Bread Market which launched two weeks ago, Paul’s Grocery Market will be open seven days a week from 8am to 2pm, offering same day delivery of bread, veg and ‘family top up’ bundles from £10 a box.

In partnership with Deliveroo and UberEats, the initiative will be open to qualifying postcodes within a 2-3-mile radius of the Market, which is located on Brunel Road in Acton, London.

Last month, the brand ceased operations in all stores, but with the launch of the Market it has also re-opened four sites – Wimbledon, Hampstead, Canary Wharf and Marble Arch – offering hot drinks and bakery products for takeaway and home delivery.

The Market’s give “customers the chance to pick up essentials in one trip or online order, without having to visit busy supermarkets,” said Mark Hilton, Paul UK CEO.

“With many people finding it hard to book supermarket delivery slots we wanted to help with the demand by delivering bundle boxes of bread, dairy, fruit and veg essentials, direct to the homes of our local community.”
