Andrew Lewis Pratt, former managing director of Retail Parks and Xscape at Capital & Regional, is looking to launch a new concept called The Market Hall, MCA understands.
Lewis Pratt, who was the driving force behind the creation of the Xscape concept, is understood to have teamed up with Simon Anderson, one of the original backers of Pitt Cue Co, to develop the new concept.
It is thought the new company behind the concept, which will feature handpicked food traders, is called Agora and it is already in advanced talks on a first site in west London.
It is understood that the company would fit out each kitchen to allow traders to be rotated weekly, monthly or annually.
It will also look to provide a “new and exciting platform to promote and nurture the best young and independent talent” through a low entry cost and flexible partnership.
The Market Hall also plans to house a rotation of Michelin Starred chefs and host a continuously changing programme of events.
If successful it is thought that Lewis-Pratt will look to add further sites under the concept across the UK.
