Desert café concept Creams has launched a reward program in partnership with Deliveroo, Just Eat and Uber Eats to thank key workers throughout the coronavirus pandemic.

The ‘Creams Heroes’ campaign is asking members of the public to nominate key workers in their community to receive a ‘Creams Indulgence Bundle,’ which includes a waffle, Creams gelato and a variety of toppings.

The company will choose up to, but not limited to, 275 ‘local heroes,’ and will match each chosen recipient with an available store for local delivery.

“This is a challenging time for everyone, not least the key workers who are working hard to keep us safe and well,” said Adam Mani, Creams CEO.

“Through our ‘Creams Heroes’ campaign, we want to say thank you to those who are working so hard, day in day out, by sharing their stories and treating them to a moment of indulgence.”

In response to the crisis, several hospitality operators including Leon, Deliveroo, Yard Sale Pizza and Crosstown Donuts have launched NHS support initiatives.
