A number of restaurants, bars and leisure brands will be opening at a new leisure and entertainment development in Plymouth city centre, called Drake Circus Leisure.
Cosy Club is taking a 6,700 sq. ft site, and will be joined by Zizzi who will be opening a 4,000 sq. ft restaurant, Five Guys (2,500 sq. ft site), and Nando’s (4,300 sq. ft).
The new development, which opens in the autumn on land adjacent to British Land’s Drake Circus, is anchored by a Cineworld cinema and will also feature a Paradise Island Adventure Golf course.
Marc Ward, group head of acquisitions, Azzurri Group, said: “We are very much looking forward to opening our Zizzi restaurant in this exciting development.
“For many years we have been looking for a suitable opportunity for representation in this important city, and this leisure development in the heart of the city, adjacent to the shopping centre, is the ideal location.”
Ben Grose, head of national leasing, British Land, added: “The commitment of five prominent brands is a reflection both of the strength of Drake Circus’ appeal as a shopping and leisure destination and the success of our long-term asset management plan.”
Smith Young and Cushman & Wakefield advised British Land on the lettings.
