Chick-fil-A is to exit the UK once its six-month lease expires.

Chick-fil-A is to exit the UK once its six-month lease expires. The US chicken shop opened its doors last weekend but was dogged by negative publicity around suggestions it’s anti-LGBTQ. The long running controversy is the result of comments made by COO Dan Cathy in 2012 in favour of traditional marriage, and charitable donations made by Chick-fil-A to organisations which propagate anti-LGBTQ sentiment.
