Bill’s will be reopening six of its restaurants on 4 July.

The business ceased all operators across its 78-strong estate at the beginning of the coronavirus lockdown in March, but today announced that its sites in Wimbledon, Lewes, Nottingham, Reigate, Rushden Lakes and the Bullring in Birmingham will be reopening next week.

The sites will have new safety measures in place including temperature checks on arrival and the use of tracking software for employees to log daily temperature readings.

Deep cleaning and disinfecting will be taking place daily, and dedicated members of staff have been appointed to ensure that health and safety is at its highest standard on an on-going basis.

“Myself and the team are excited to open our doors once again,” said founder Bill Collison. “We have missed our friends and being part of our communities, and are ready once again to welcome our guests back.

“We have worked tirelessly to ensure we can create a fantastic experience for all, whilst being safe in the knowledge that we have taken every precaution for the safety of our diners and employees.”
