The Exhibit, the Balham bar-restaurant from former Drake & Morgan head of marketing Lisa Loebenberg, is looking to reach five sites in the next two years, after opening its second site in Streatham, MCA has learnt.

Following on from the original Exhibit, opened 17 years ago by the Weatherhead brothers, Exhibit B opened last week on Streatham High Road with a focus on drinks and entertainment.

Loebenberg, who joined the founders two and half years ago to revitalise the business, told MCA there were plans to open further sites in South London in up and coming areas of economic growth, with the Streatham bar to become a template for further sites.

She said after honing the brand at Balham and trialling it further in Streatham, they will look to get to five under the Exhibit concept, targeting 21-35-year old demographics in South West London.

She said: “We are really pushing the experience side of things - most people are expecting more than just food and drink these days, so Balham and Streatham are very entertainment led.

“We feel like we have something that works really well, it’s very food led in the daytime, and then it flips at 6pm into more of a bar with cocktails.

“Subsequent sites will be adapted to the area, ideally South West London, though it depends on the community

“We are trying to be in up and coming areas with a strong 21-35year old demographic, people who enjoy nights out twice a week, living in flats or house shares, young professionals.”
