Nightclubs and trendy bars are increasingly reversing the old "no jeans or trainers" dress code and are turning away patrons in business suits.
The new dress-down codes have been introduced in the nightclubs of Soho in the West End of London, to the cool drinking holes of Shoreditch and Hoxton Square in the east. Clubs are trying to keep out the "suits" from the City whom they say are loud, drunk and rude and attract trouble.
