Plans to force pubs to serve a full liquid pint could be ditched. The issue has been referred for further debate with the Department of Trade and Industry after the Better Regulation Task Force expressed concern last week.
The 100% liquid pint could cost the industry £500m including oversized glasses and beer lost through overfilling.
