Wendy’s International has named Steve Farrar as its newly appointed chief of North America operations.
Farrar will return from retirement to accept the newly-created role, which will be effective from 14 April.
He previously worked as senior vice president of Wendy’s western region between 1992 and 2006, before accepting an early retirement package as part of a company restructuring.
In his new post, Farrar will be responsible for improving restaurant operations at company and franchise outlets in the US and Canada, as well as growing sales and driving profit margins.
