Jonathan Downey, the London bar operator, is already planning his second boutique hotel following the launch of The Club House in Chamonix, in the French Alps.
The operator of leading bars such as Milk & Honey and Trailor Happiness says he will target more European ski resorts, such as Verbier in Switzerland, if the first Club House is a success.
Downey is also understood to be scouring Los Angeles for appropriate sites for a Milk & Honey bar and hotel.
