A second cancer patient in six months has found themselves at the wrong end of a 'no baseball caps' rule.

Carol Guest, who was wearing a baseball cap after losing her hair during chemotherapy, was told to sit in the children's area after refusing to remove the hat at the White Horse in Balsall Common, Coventry.

Gill Rawlins, spokeswoman for the Spirit Group, which runs the White Horse, said: "Even though this pub is in a lovely area, the manager had enormous problems a few years ago.

"From then, he installed two rules - no one is allowed to wear baseball caps and there is no drinking out of bottles."
