London Cocktail Club, the concept backed by Raymond Blanc, has secured its sixth site in London’s Islington, M&C Report understands.

The group, which was founded in 2010 by JJ Goodman and James Hopkins, has agreed a new 15-year lease on a rent of £35k per annum on 108 Essex Road.

The company, which recently opened in Shoreditch, continues to search for other suitable expansion opportunities in the capital.

Earlier this year, the company launched a new drinks concept later this month called The Craft Cocktail Co in Bethnal Green.

It acquired a portion of the Network Rail development at Arch 253 Paradise Row for the new venture that includes workshop, off-licence and bar.

Goodman and Hopkins won the TV show The Restaurant in 2009 and include entrepreneur Sarah Willingham as a further backer.
