Hijingo is set to launch its groundbreaking new show, ‘Generation 2.0’, later this month (18 July).

Known for high-tech and multi-sensory bingo experiences, the show builds on three years of redefining immersive entertainment.

State of Play, the company behind Hijingo, has integrated new state-of-the-art AI advancements, while expanding its food and drink offering.

Drawing inspiration from dystopian themes, this latest iteration will feature enhanced visuals, advanced special effects, and high-energy music compositions to elevate the customer experience.

Inspired by the neon-lit aesthetics of Tokyo Nights, a highlight of the new show is AVA (Artificial Virtual Architect), the AI bot that now hosts the game.

AVA interacts directly with players, guiding them through each round and maintaining the game’s momentum.

The ‘Hijingobots’, the experience’s dynamic dancers, return with new choreography, adding further to the electrifying atmosphere.

Guests at Hijingo can also enjoy an expanded menu, designed to complement its immersive bingo experience, including options like buttermilk popcorn chicken, lamb samosas, and prawn spring rolls with ponzu sauce.

Other options served on sticks include choices like 8-hour slow-cooked pork belly glazed in plum sauce, grilled yakitori chicken, as well as beetroot & onion or roasted mushroom & sweet potato with garlic and lemon dressing.

More substantial options include buttermilk chicken burger, smashed beef burger or mushroom burger with a herb-crusted patty, while tacos come with fillings like tender smoked brisket, prawn, and black bean.

Lucky Cat Bar will serve a range of inventive cocktails, including the ‘granny sour’ with apple whiskey, the ‘frozen picante’ with a touch of chilli, the indulgent ‘cherry pie’ with dark chocolate liqueur, or the lychee infused ‘fifth element’.

Nicola Blackford, chief commercial officer at State of Play Hospitality, said: “We are committed to creating the most memorable experience for our guests, to ensure when they return they feel more energy, see more spectacle, and have more fun. That’s why we’ve invested significantly in our new show, leveraging enhanced audio-visual capabilities, and expanded our menu. Our diverse food and beverage options are exciting and shareable and so perfectly complement the Hijingo game. We are confident these will lead to more returning guests and love for the brand.”
