Guinness heir Lord Moyne has been declared bankrupt. Creditors will meet this week to appoint a trustee. His debts total £40m. A few months ago Moyne û also known as Jonathan Guinness - was disqualified as a company director in Britain and implicated in a financial scandal in Sweden.
Along with two partners, Moyne is likely to appear in a Stockholm court later this year to face charges of embezzlement. The claims focus on the disappearance of £35m from Trustor, an investment firm he chaired in 1997.
